Right from the start, at the end of 1999, the five members of Positive Roots Band,
have never stopped to perform with different singers.
More than 350 concerts througout France and european countries, including several
performances on festivals with famous jamaican artists as Buju Banton, Black Uhuru,
The Skatalites, Israel Vibration...
For that reason, Positive Roots Band is acknowledged as to be a reference in
France for their energy on stage. They have been played on main french FM radio
as France Inter or Skyrock, and they made also appearances on different TV Programs
(Canal Jimmy, France Television).
The band is composed of musicians from France, West Indies and Senegal.
The experience singer from Saint-Marteen, Bob Wasa, brings "authenticity"
by his presence and his charismatic voice.
This melting-pot gives a rich, melodic and dynamic music between roots, new
roots and dub.
The lyrics, all written by Bob Wasa, talk about education, society, love and
events of the world in simplicity on a positive way.
After the album "Reggae Feeling" the next album "Rainbow"
feat. Gregory Isaacs, Big Youth, Daweh Congo and Laina Ankh, and mixed by gaylord
Bravo in Leggo Studio (Jamaica), will be avaible in october 2007, roots and
culture!!!
