Steele rocks Calgary for Mother's Day
Steele
On the verge of the release of his new cd "THE LOVE OF JAH", Steele rolled into Calgary, Alberta Canada for a special Mother's Day concert. Kabana Bar & Grill was rocking from 8pm on Saturday evening and when Steele, the headliner, hit the stage at 11.30 PM the place went into a frenzy. Steele had promised a show specially dedicated to the ladies and as always he delivered with authority. He dove into hits from his earlier recordings such as "Love TKO" and "Silhouette", he teased with "Confession", "Shining Star" and "Do bad by Myself", all songs from his upcoming cd, but this was just the beginning. He then showed his versatility by belting out soulful classics such as, "God Bless the Day I Found You", which saw one of his adoring fans sharing some intimate moments with him on stage. He followed with "Under the Boardwalk" and "Magic Moment", this literally had the delighted audience sounding like a choir.

Steele’s current hit "Shining Star", transformed the venue into a dance hall session when Steele invited three females to join him on stage, and with the drum and bass pounding at Club Kabana these ladies demonstrated the art of the Cool and Deadly. With a well mixed audience in attendance, Steele took some time to talk about Love and Unity, a topic he has always been very passionate about, before sharing his rendition of John Lennon’s "Imagine". Hands swayed as all agreed with the message coming forth from the Reggae Sensation. Steele left the stage with the rendition of Bob Marley’s "One Love", but came back to the overwhelming shouts for more. He returned with the ever popular "Jah is my Strength", and with that, the audience was fully satisfied.

Mother’s Day at Kabana Bar & Grill was a blast.

Steele’s cd "THE LOVE OF JAH" is scheduled for release later this month. Make sure to pick up your copy.
