Edge Michael, the rebel with a cause |
Western Jamaica's reggae superstar on the rise Edge Michael has been given the green light in the fact that he has received the Schengen visa required to pursue his upcoming promotional tour of Europe.
Riding on the popularity of the single Delilah from his forthcoming CD "In My Search" on the Loco Records/H.O.R. Record label of Austrian residence, the artist will tour Austria, Germany, Belgium and France, countries that Edge Michael has performed before and has already developed a modest and growing fanbase.
Edge Michael is set to depart Jamaican soil on May 19 to attend dress rehearsals with the backing band in Austria and do final preparations to bring reggae joy to his fans in Europe. At the first concert on May 23 in Hofstetten, Austria. The House of Riddim Festival 2008 will also showcase Fantan Mojah and Leftside aka Dr. Evil among other Jamaican and European reggae stars (www.myspace.com/houseofriddimfestival).
