Beenie Man's hot performance warms chilly Boston |
Entertainer extraordinaire, Moses 'Beenie Man' Davis, hot from his American Music Award stint gave a scorching performance at Lindos in Boston last Friday night (November 23).
The artiste had fans, mostly Yankees and 95 per cent women eating from the palms of his hands when he gave an awesome close to an hour performance. From he drew the first song, he had nothing to do but to keep jigging and listen as the audience became his back-up singers. The venue that can hold a capacity of 2,500 to 3,000 patrons was filled to capacity and some patrons left disappointed when they were told that they couldn't make it inside the venue.
After the show a delighted Beenie Man told reporters that, "I am pleased to see what I did tonight. It's the first time that I have worked on tracks and didn't have a hitch. It felt like I was still at the music awards." The artiste then took the opportunity to invite Boston dancehall fans to the World Clash on Saturday night at the Amazura where he clashed with Tony Matterhorn which ended in a tie; hence both will be sharing the trophy. |
